e-Media Worldwide monitors media from thousands
of global sources daily. As of December 2002,
the list of sources numbered 12,000 from 26 countries
in 11 languages. The list includes major national
and minor regional daily, weekly, and monthly
publications, e-zines, message boards, newsgroups,
chat rooms, and more.
With such a large reading list, the number of results generated from a single search term can reach triple digits in high news periods. To control the information that clients receive, during these periods, e-Media Worldwide can limit the list of media from which clippings are taken. All clients are informed on a monthly basis of additions to the e-Media Worldwide media list via a monthly update from client services.
If a media site or publication is not on e-Media Worldwides current source list, clients can submit the site to their Client Services team member, and monitoring will begin on those sites within 24 hours, with a confirmation email sent to the client at that time. In the event that e-Media Worldwide is already monitoring that particular site, the confirmation email will include that information.
Due to the size of the full media list, and in the interest of maintaining a unique and market leading service for clients, the full media list is only available online within the secure client environment.
